Senior Financial Reporting Accountant Role Summary:
Assist with reviewing financial statements, identify and implement best practices, and work with management on client servicing and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out financial reporting and prepare client reports.
- Review and assist in preparing financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a client service culture and ensure clients receive quality service.
- Work closely with audit firms and facilitate technical briefs and updates.
- Represent the Financial Reporting team at relevant meetings.
- Identify training needs and establish performance standards.
- Assist team members with non-routine financial reporting issues.
- Liaise with Compliance and other stakeholders.
- Establish best practices to improve client satisfaction and service.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Proven experience in investment management.
- Financial reporting experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-servicing skills.
- Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS experience.
- Knowledge of the Irish regulatory regime.
- Effective communicator, motivator, and coach.
- Takes initiative to improve areas outside of immediate responsibilities.
- IT proficient.
