Job Description

Senior Financial Reporting Accountant Role Summary:

Assist with reviewing financial statements, identify and implement best practices, and work with management on client servicing and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Carry out financial reporting and prepare client reports.

  • Review and assist in preparing financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive a client service culture and ensure clients receive quality service.

  • Work closely with audit firms and facilitate technical briefs and updates.

  • Represent the Financial Reporting team at relevant meetings.

  • Identify training needs and establish performance standards.

  • Assist team members with non-routine financial reporting issues.

  • Liaise with Compliance and other stakeholders.

  • Establish best practices to improve client satisfaction and service.



Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant.

  • Proven experience in investment management.

  • Financial reporting experience.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and client-servicing skills.

  • Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS experience.

  • Knowledge of the Irish regulatory regime.

  • Effective communicator, motivator, and coach.

  • Takes initiative to improve areas outside of immediate responsibilities.

  • IT proficient.
