Job Description
A senior geotechnical engineer is sought to undertake geotechnical design for projects across various sectors in Ireland and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake geotechnical design for projects across various sectors in Ireland and overseas
- Deliver projects within budget and timeframes, liaising with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Manage, direct, and develop junior staff
- Provide advisory services to public and private sector clients
- Project manage geotechnical and multidisciplinary projects
Requirements
- Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering
- Post-graduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics, or equivalent (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role in geotechnical design and/or construction
- Strong technical understanding of deep excavations, deep and shallow foundations, earthworks, slope stability, and soft ground solutions
- Experience of planning, managing, supervising, and interpreting geotechnical investigations
- Good planning, organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments
- Effective written communication and report writing skills
- Awareness or experience in 3D modelling, GIS, scripting, or automation and their application to geotechnics (advantageous)
- Awareness or experience of contaminated land/waste and reuse of earthworks materials (advantageous)
- Flexibility to travel and full driver's license (advantageous)
