Senior Group Accountant role in a multinational company in Dublin, Ireland, requiring a Big 4 Qualified Accountant with 1-5 years PQE to prepare financial statements, engage with stakeholders, and develop financial reporting systems.
Hire Force has a unique opportunity for a Senior Group Accountant to join the finance team of a world-renowned Irish Plc in Dublin. This global leader in their industry is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to play a key role in the Groups finance team.
This role provides unrivalled exposure to executive and senior management and companies throughout the Group, opportunities to build a network of relationships across various Group functions, and unique opportunities to develop project management and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the Groups US GAAP/IFRS Consolidated Financial Statements in a multinational multi-currency environment to strict external reporting deadlines.
- Continuously strive to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies in the external reporting processes.
- Involved in the preparation of Board and Audit Committee deliverables including annual and interim results, audit deliverables and regulatory developments.
- Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders including year-round interaction with the Group auditors and other external specialists.
- Supporting newly acquired businesses with the Groups external reporting requirements.
- Involvement in the development and implementation of financial reporting systems across the Group.
- Involvement in a variety of ad-hoc projects including process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Big 4 Qualified Accountant (1-5 years PQE).
- Focus on adding value by meeting customers needs and being flexible in doing so.
- Ability to engage multiple stakeholders with varying objectives and be able to contribute both individually and as part of a wider team.
- Good working knowledge of financial reporting processes.
