HireForce has a very exciting opportunity to join the finance team of a world-renowned Irish Plc in Dublin as a Senior Group Accountant. This client is a global leader in their industry and is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to play a key role in the Groups finance team. In this role, the successful candidate will be a key member of a high-profile team across the Group and will liaise with the finance teams in each of their divisions and provide business partnering support to the Group functional teams. Responsibilities include the following: Preparation of the Groups US GAAP/IFRS Consolidated Financial Statements in a multinational multi-currency environment to strict external reporting deadlines. Continuously strive to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies in the external reporting processes. Involved in the preparation of Board and Audit Committee deliverables including annual and interim results, audit deliverables and regulatory developments. Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders including year-round interaction with the Group auditors and other external specialists. Supporting newly acquired businesses with the Groups external reporting requirements. Involvement in the development and implementation of financial reporting systems across the Group. Involvement in a variety of ad-hoc projects including process improvement initiatives. Requirements: Big 4 Qualified Accountant (1-5 years PQE). Focus on adding value by meeting customers needs and being flexible in doing so. Ability to engage multiple stakeholders with varying objectives and be able to contribute both individually and as part of a wider team. Good working knowledge of financial reporting processes.
