Senior Group Pensions & Risk Administrator

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for managing the Group Pension & Group Risk pipeline of business from start to finish.
  • You will interact daily with some of Irelands Life Insurance Companies and will ensure effective communication flow between Clients, Scheme Members and Financial Advisors.
  • You will manage the processing of new Joiner application forms deal directly with the Life Assurance companies to ensure these are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • You will also deal with Scheme Members and Financial Advisors on Transfer Outs, Pension Claims, Contribution Changes, Fund Switches and any other existing business amendments, ensuring all relevant paperwork is processed in a timely and compliancy manner.
  • You will communicate with clients over phone and email keeping them updated on the progress of their application/s.
  • You will take ownership of a portfolio of Corporate Pension & Risk schemes and act as the main Point of Contact for those companies.
  • You will be responsible for the Annual Renewals of each scheme, liaising with the Client Company and relevant Life Company to ensure all changes at renewal are reflected correctly.
  • You will also be involved in rebroking for existing Schemes when necessary, as well as requesting quotes for new Scheme Setups where necessary.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of compliance such as Anti Money Laundering requirements and Consumer Protection Code requirements.

Qualifications & skills required:

  • QFA qualified (or almost complete)
  • Strong knowledge of Group Pension & Group Risk, ideally from a Brokerage environment
  • 23 years' experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work off own initiative is a necessity as this role will be on a fully remote basis.
