Lead the culture of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) excellence. Ensure compliance with legal and contractual standards, oversee SHEQ management systems, and support teams across operations to uphold industry best practices and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: SHEQ Systems & Compliance: Maintain SHEQ systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) and ensure 100% usage of Geopal across the workforce. Regularly update SHEQ policies for ongoing improvement in safety, health, environmental protection, and quality. Risk Management & Audits: Conduct Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and oversee site audits. Manage incident investigations, analyze safety data, and recommend preventive actions. Training & Documentation: Oversee and document employee training to ensure competency in SHEQ practices. Implement tailored SHEQ training for compliance across all levels. Review and confirm contractor documentation before work begins. Emergency & ATEX Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans for wastewater operations. Gain ATEX knowledge; initial training through CompEX courses will be provided. Reporting: Provide weekly safety reports to Directors and relevant updates to Plant Managers. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Degree in safety, engineering, or related field with 5-7 years of SHEQ management experience in utilities, wastewater, or similar fields. Proven background in SHEQ leadership and compliance. Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and ISO standards. Environmental regulations and wastewater treatment expertise. ATEX knowledge is beneficial; training will be provided if needed. Skills in risk assessment, communication, and cross-team collaboration. Benefits : Healthcare Company Car Pension
