Job Description
Sisk Strategic Projects, a services division within John Sisk & Son, is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead the implementation of a professional, competent, and knowledge-shared culture across all sites.
- Lead the implementation of a professional health, safety, and environment culture across all sites, ensuring best-in-class practices.
- Assist the BU HSE Manager in the consistent roll-out of company strategy and expectations within SOPs, Guidance, etc.
- Carry out high-quality safety inspections of Sisk workplaces at a frequency and with the intrusiveness as coached by the BU HSE Manager.
- Perform risk reviews and attend sites following accidents/incidents to assist with investigation.
- Liaise with enforcement authorities and understand bespoke client requirements to tailor management systems.
- Alert line managers to signs of deterioration or lack of ownership in delivering expected Sisk and/or bespoke client safety requirements.
- Assist the BU HSE Manager with tender and pre-qualification submissions, advising on Health and Safety concerns.
- Attend Start-Up meetings with Sisk site teams and coach staff at all levels in Health and Safety expectations and standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years as a Health and Safety professional.
- NEBOSH Construction Diploma or Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Temp Works Awareness and knowledge of TWC role.
- Incident Investigation Training.
