Job Description
We are seeking a candidate to start on 13th January 2025. We are Cork University Hospital Group, the largest statutory hospital in Ireland, offering all acute surgical and medical specialities on one campus. We are one of the busiest hospitals in Ireland and aspire to be one of the best.
We are a regional centre for secondary and tertiary care for HSE South and provide supra-regional services to southern Ireland. We are a Level 1 trauma centre, 24/7 neurosurgical and stroke thrombectomy centre, and have a range of other specialist services including cardiothoracic surgery and cancer care.
Cork University Hospitals Group comprises three acute hospitals, including Cork University Hospital, and has over 5000 staff. We are the primary teaching hospital for University College Cork and deliver the largest number of academic clinical placements and clinical research trials in Ireland.
We have strong relationships with the five schools within the College of Medicine and Health and are the second largest employer in Cork.
