This role is based out of our Mahon Office, in Cork. The successful candidate will have full autonomy to lead, grow and develop the role. Our Senior HVAC Design Engineer will work alongside the Building Services team and projects teams supporting the successful delivery of national and global capex projects for the Life Science industry. The successful candidate will have full autonomy to lead, grow and develop the role. This position will play a key role in the Company’s expansion and growth. This role will be involved in exciting projects within the pharmaceutical industry and requires an experienced individual with strong attention to detail. This is an office-based role, with hybrid flexibility to work from home on Fridays.RESPONSIBILITIESDetailing designs including sizing and routing of services, including some 2-D and 3-D CADCoordinating designs with all other disciplinesSpecificating and selecting equipmentCollaborating with vendors and contractorsSupporting construction and commissioning including dealing with contractor queries, site coordination and supervision / inspectionsREQUIREMENTSSuitable qualification with a recognised Third-level Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building ServicesExperience of 2-D and 2-D AutoCAD will be an advantageMore than 5 years pharmaceutical/life sciences design office experienceProven ability to successfully manage the delivery of designs for pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology projectsProactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multi-discipline project-delivery environmentAmbition to grow and develop within a thriving high-growth organisation where client service and individual excellence is paramountExcellent level of attention to detail and accuracyThe statements on the job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person(s) assigned to do this job.
