Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join an Environment & Planning team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrogeological assessments, field data collection, and project management. This position offers the opportunity to work on a range of high-profile projects across Ireland, with a focus on environmental assessments and groundwater resource management. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work from various office locations with the option of hybrid working.Requirements:MSc in Hydrogeology or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of Irish hydrogeologyProven experience in fieldwork and data collectionExcellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in GIS and other relevant software toolsKnowledge of relevant legislation and environmental planning regulationsAbility to manage projects, including financial aspects such as fee proposals and budgetingFull driving licence and willingness to travel across IrelandPhysically fit and able to work in various weather conditionsResponsibilities:Lead and participate in hydrogeological fieldwork, including data collection, drilling supervision, and test pumpingPrepare sections of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), hydrogeological risk assessments, and groundwater resource evaluationsOversee and manage hydrogeological projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budgetContribute to desktop studies, field mapping, and reportingManage financial aspects of projects, including producing fee proposals and tender documentsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomesThis is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic hydrogeologist looking to further their career by working on high-profile environmental projects across Ireland. #J-18808-Ljbffr
