Realtime Recruitment is looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Architect to join our client's team. Reporting to the Head of IT Security, this is a key hire within the organization. Role Purpose This role is designed for an experienced cybersecurity professional responsible for developing security strategies, architectures, policies, and processes to protect the company's platforms, systems, and data from cyberattacks and unauthorized access. The role also involves driving the implementation of security policies and standards, monitoring compliance, and addressing emerging threats. Key Responsibilities - Lead the deployment of security projects to enhance the company's security posture. - Create and maintain IT security policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. - Work closely with managed security partners and oversee their services. - Implement secure design practices, including frameworks like NIS2, ISO 27000, ENISA ISF, COBIT. - Monitor and assess risks from emerging threats, ensuring compliance with security policies. - Guide the organization in migrating to a target security architecture. - Develop materials to promote security awareness among staff. - Manage security incidents and ensure GDPR compliance. Technical Skills Required - Extensive experience with IT security practices, including encryption, authentication, EDR, and XDR. - Proven experience in implementing multi-factor authentication. - Proficiency in DevSecOps and secure application design principles. - Experience conducting penetration tests with third-party suppliers. - Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and NIS2. - Security certifications (CISSP, CISM) and network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) essential. - MSc in cybersecurity, computer science, or related fields is preferred. - Understanding and application of ZTA.
