Job Title: Infrastructure Architect Client: Government Contract Duration: 24 months Location: Dublin 11 Work Pattern: Hybrid (3 days remote / 2 days onsite per week) Day Rate: Competitive, based on market rates Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must hold either an Irish/EU passport or a valid work permit to work full-time in Ireland. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Architect for a long-term contract with a government client based in Dublin 11. This role requires a professional with over 7 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, along with a Level 7 or higher qualification in a computer science-related discipline. As the Infrastructure Architect, you will lead the design, operation, and management of the organisations infrastructure assets, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver top-tier infrastructure solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a critical project, combining remote and onsite work to ensure flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the design, operation, and management of the organisations infrastructure assets. Collaborate with stakeholders, including ICT colleagues, organisational management, and external parties, to deliver robust infrastructure solutions. Serve as the infrastructure expert, focusing on designing solutions that adhere to best practice standards. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) leading implementation within an enterprise infrastructure team. Expertise in server management, storage, networking, and Oracle databases. Strong application-serving capabilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with business customers, ICT stakeholders, and infrastructure team members. Qualifications (Mandatory): A Level 7 or higher qualification in a computer science-related discipline (or equivalent).
