Senior Infrastructure Engineer Job In Dublin

Job Description

Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Provide 3rd-line support to end-users on all ICT-related tasks over the phone and at the desk when required.
2. Ensure ICT Support systems are kept up to date and in support.
3. Troubleshoot all Physical and Virtual Server issues.
4. Troubleshoot all software-related issues.
5. Installation of ICT hardware and software.
6. Deal with external support companies in relation to escalated ICT Infrastructure calls.
7. Participation in ICT Dept. on-call rota.

What is essential to have:

1. 5+ years of previous experience working on an Infrastructure Team.
2. Installing, maintaining, and supporting both hardware and software Server.
3. Deep knowledge of Windows and Microsoft software.
4. Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 and Microsoft software.
5. Detailed knowledge of VMware.
6. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange.
7. Good knowledge of Active Directory and GPOs.
8. Experience with backup systems.
9. Excellent communication.
10. Strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent working experience.
