Job Description
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide 3rd-line support to end-users on all ICT-related tasks over the phone and at the desk when required.
- Ensure ICT Support systems are kept up to date and in support.
- Troubleshoot all Physical and Virtual Server issues.
- Troubleshoot all software-related issues.
- Installation of ICT hardware and software.
- Deal with external support companies in relation to escalated ICT Infrastructure calls.
- Participation in ICT Dept. on-call rota.
What is essential to have:
- 5+ years of previous experience working on an Infrastructure Team.
- Installing, maintaining, and supporting both hardware and software Server.
- Deep knowledge of Windows and Microsoft software.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 and Microsoft software.
- Detailed knowledge of VMware.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory and GPOs.
- Experience with backup systems.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent working experience.
