Senior Internal Auditor North Dublin: Experienced internal auditor sought to develop career with growing Irish company.
This role offers a diverse business experience across commercial, retail, property management, and consultancy, spanning different geographies.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Head of Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of internal control across various businesses.
- Lead audit assignments and design audit programs in accordance with professional standards.
- Prepare audit reports summarising audit results and making clear recommendations.
- Follow up and tracking of audit issues raised.
- Lead follow-up audits to ensure remediation of issues identified.
- Ensure audit work-papers comply with IIA professional standards.
- Assist in carrying out special investigations as requested by CEO or Audit & Risk Committee.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant and professionally trained auditor.
- Strong organisational and follow up skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
