Highly Experienced Internal Auditor Required for Leading Irish Company
Ambitious and experienced internal auditor required to join a growing and successful Irish Company with a broad business base across commercial, retail, property management, and consultancy. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Group Head of Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls across various businesses.
- Lead audit assignments and design audit programs in accordance with professional standards.
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarising results and providing practical solutions to mitigate control gaps.
- Follow up on audit issues raised and lead follow-up audits to ensure remediation of identified issues.
- Ensure audit working papers comply with IIA professional standards and are of high quality.
- Assist in carrying out special investigations as requested by senior management.
- Qualified accountant and professionally trained auditor.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills, including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
