Job Description

Permanent position - Hybrid working environment (2 days in-office per week) We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Systems Analyst OR hybrid IT Business Analyst / Project Manager with Enterprise Applications and Data Integration experience. Any experience of ERP applications integration or Data - DataBricks, Data lakes, Data & API Integration is highly desirable for this role. This is a hybrid Technical Business Analyst / Systems Analyst role OR it may also suit a Technical Business Systems Analys / Technical Project Manager, where you will be responsible for solutioning with a focus on the technical end of the Techno-functional mix, concentrating on managing Enterprise Software Applications integration between internal & external partner systems. Effectively, you will be acting as a Solutions Architect for the Change Team on key Digital Projects. Your role will cover functionality requirements analysis from the business through to the delivery of Enterprise Systems changes. You will be seen as an SME in the Applications API & Data integration areas, as part of the Digital Transformation Group within this International Financial Services Organisation. We are seeking an IT Professional with a Techno Functional skillset from an Applications (Software Applications) background, someone able to define change requirements, through to interfacing with Application Software Development teams, defining the technical change requirements & managing the implementation of new systems & new Digital solutions / modules to the core Enterprise platforms that are critical to the company's operations & expansion. Ideally we are seeking someone who can define & implement a data strategy, including data integration for the organisation's core enterprise applications. Therefore, experience of ERP Software Applications (SAP, Oracle Applications, Business Intelligence - BI, data heavy solutions) or key Enterprise Applications experience within the Financial Services Industry is also highly desirable for this role. Role Details This role is Solutioning and Design focused where you will be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation of solution designs and supporting the change deliverable through the development lifecycle. You will perform a variety of change and implementation management activities. Thus, ultimately responsible for implementation management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change product through the full lifecycle. Interface with the Business and Technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements and processes Manage all aspects of changes throughout the development lifecycle (SDLC), including scope, schedule, resources, risks and issue management Own, drive and manage the delivery of change milestones in a corporate enterprise Relationship management with key stakeholders, including Technical Architects & Software Development teams of our key Applications Vendor Facilitate and chair workshops and stakeholder meetings Adhere to internal project methodologies and governance structures Serve as a subject matter expert in briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of the assigned Changes Required Experience: Experience working in areas such as Business Applications Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Business Solutions Architect, Technical Business Analyst, Applications & Data Integration Specialist or IT Business Analyst / Project Manager Proven ability working in a solution architecture capacity or prior background in Software Systems Design / Software Development Proven knowledge of Application Engineering, Data Integration, DevOps / Agile practices Excellent ability to produce technical documentation Good command of software development and project management methodologies and artifacts Experience in any modern data stack technologies is a major plus - Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake, StreamSets or similar API Integration Platforms Hands-on experience with data integration technologies and tools such as ETL/ELT platforms (eg. Mulesoft, Low- Code, API) and data integration frameworks Proficiency in SQL and programming languages Working experience in cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud) Experience working and building solutions with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools PMP/Prince and/or Agile PM or Product Owner accredited Any knowledge and experience of working in the insurance sector, financial services industry or with enterprise insurance or related financial software systems is highly desirable. Salary level = €70-75K + bonus + benefits Location: Dublin City centre (minimum of 2 days per week on-site) Please note that you MUST have EU/EEA/UK citizenship or hold a current valid work visa for Ireland.
