Senior IT Engineer- Co. Clare Excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer to join a thriving company in Co. Clare. The Senior IT Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all Site IT systems are functioning properly and in compliance with applicable regulations. The Senior IT Site Engineer will also be involved in developing IT-related policies and procedures for all local IT resources and managing the IT requirements of the company's expanding office. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of Microsoft Cloud Systems, such as MDM and Intune, as well as AAD and M365. Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and keep the assets register up-to-date. Manage vendor interactions in relation to service level agreements, tickets, and IT support issues. Maintain records of software upgrades and newly installed computer equipment, ensuring that licensing for all purchased software is recorded and maintained. Provide Level 2&3 support to troubleshoot desktop and user-related issues and also technical support for implementing all manufacturing and laboratory systems on-site. Provide IT support to all sites for escalated issues such as file, print, hardware, network connectivity, and software errors. Key Requirements: Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to manage backup solutions such as Veeam. Proven experience in a similar role Strong background in Networking Systems Administration and experience with network security and network tools Strong project management skills and the ability to solve problems in a methodical manner.
