Campion Insurance, part of PIB Group, one of Ireland's largest Insurance brokerages, is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team as we continue our rapid growth in 2023.Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure EngineerWe are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic IT team with an established Financial Services company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who will be responsible for managing and implementing a variety of solutions while also having the opportunity to provide key input in the overall strategy and design of infrastructure and ICT projects.Key ResponsibilitiesBe a technical resource contributing to the rollout of new technologies across the organisation.Collaborate with and assist third-party Managed Service and SOC providers.Act as a technical resource on multiple projects to successfully onboard newly acquired companies into the Campion IT landscape.Act as an escalation point for complex support problems.Have a deep understanding of security and its importance in relation to business goals.SkillsMicrosoft 365 AdministrationAzure AdministrationWindows Server (2012+) Administration (Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS)Email Server migration experience (Exchange and Exchange Online)Windows 10 configuration and managementPowerShell ScriptingExperience implementing security best practices and solutionsDesirableExperience with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Intune, Azure VD)SQL Server AdministrationManagement of cloud-based security services (MDM, Email Security, Web protection)Experience managing backup solutionsNetworking Experience (Switching and Firewall)Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role.Microsoft Certifications (Azure, M365, MCSE) or equivalent.Third level degree in related discipline.Full driver’s licence and own transport an advantage.PackageSalary €60-€70kLife cover and illness benefit coverCompany Pension (after qualifying period)20 days holidays – up to 25 days after 5 years’ serviceHybrid working options after training periodTraining and skills developmentAbout UsWe’ve been in business for almost 40 years now and we are very proud of our many achievements during this time, including winning the Best Managed Companies Award for 12 years running.
