Job Description
Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join a pharmaceutical company. This role involves managing daily operations of local IT systems and infrastructure, providing support to all users on-site, and assisting all departments with their IT needs. The role also includes collaborating with other locations as needed.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot desktop and user-related issues.Provide technical support for implementing manufacturing and laboratory systems on-site.Offer technical support for escalated IT issues such as hardware, network connectivity, and software errors.Keep track of IT equipment and update the assets register.Manage interactions with vendors regarding service level agreements and IT support issues.Record software upgrades and newly installed computer equipment.Participate in global groups to manage and upgrade systems like Active Directory, antivirus systems, networks, app deployment, helpdesk, and infrastructure.Assist in developing and managing Microsoft Cloud Systems.Document corporate and local IT policies and procedures related to systems, users, user and data security.Ensure compliance with GMP, Data Integrity, and Good Documentation Practice.Create, review, and execute GAMP Protocols for onboarding, updating, or maintaining GXP Systems.Key Skills & Requirements:Excellent documentation skills.Ability to manage backup solutions such as Veeam.Strong project management skills and problem-solving ability.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to identify and escalate issues to line management.Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of the business.Understanding of team dynamics and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Experience working with Validated Computerized Systems (GxP) is preferred.Experience with network security and network tools.Excellent communication skills.For more information, please contact Toby Shelton.Apply nowIf you are interested in learning more or applying to this exciting opportunity then please click 'Apply' and upload a copy of your CV. #J-18808-Ljbffr
