Realtime recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a permanent position based in Dublin City Centre. This role requires an onsite presence (with some flexibility on remote work days) The ideal candidate will be technically minded and will have excellent Business acumen. You will be responsible for overseeing complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and scope requirements. Key Responsibilities Project Management - Manage full IT project lifecycle: ideation, requirements gathering, solution assessment, vendor appraisal, procurement, design, build, test, commission, and operate - Develop project scope and deliverables; monitor progress to ensure timely, on-budget delivery - Define resource requirements for project delivery - Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and dependencies - Conduct robust project evaluations to provide visibility of options and issues to stakeholders - Coordinate across IT, engineering, operations, finance, legal, and procurement disciplines - Maintain project financials, focusing on cost-to-completion and variances - Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, planning, and regulatory standards Leadership and Coordination - Lead internal IT staff, consultants, and contractors - Collaborate with Finance and Procurement on RFP design and implementation - Support CTO in developing strategic plans and budgets Experience - PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification - Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 7+ years experience managing large-scale IT and business capability projects (€500K+) - Conducting project feasibility studies and design development - Vendor management and optimization - Leading multidisciplinary teams - Translating business requirements into deliverables - Risk management for complex IT projects - Stakeholder relationship management - Implementing project management tools - Understanding of IT architecture, operations, and vendor support To hear more about this role contact Sue on or email your CV to Skills: Senior IT Project
