WANTED:my client is looking to hire a Senior IT Risk and Governance Manager for a brand-new role based in Dublin City Centre. There is a hybrid working model in place. This role will report into the Director of IT Cyber Risk. Operating within the First Line of Defence, you will work closely with Senior Management Team colleagues and play a key role in embedding a strong risk culture in the company and ensuring IT risks are efficiently identified and addressed. You will have proven IT risk and control experience with strong problem solving and influencing skills. The key elements to the role are; embedding a culture that supports IT Risk, providing guidance, risk mitigation, risk and control assessments, working onstrategic initiatives, and acting as the main point of reference for IT Risk. A FULL JOB SPEC AND COMPANY PROFILE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE THIS ROLE IS PAYING A VERY GOOD BASE SALARY AND BENEFITS PACKAGE For this Role: Minimum 5 years + relevant IT Risk & Controls or IT Audit experience. Ideally Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Drives and influences strategic and operational frameworks supporting compliance and security activities. Support IT controls monitoring activities relating to internal/external audit processes and Regulators. Map resolution and ensuring appropriate level of reporting and escalation. Identify compliance, information security and business continuity risks to the organization and make recommendations for corrective actions/ risk mitigation. Report findings to management and communicates recommendations for corrective actions. Strong experience in the identification and management of IT risk and controls. Responsible for embedding a strong IT risk culture in the department. Ensuring IT risks are efficiently identified and addressed. Oversight and provision of guidance on IT and operations control identification and specification. Oversight of Risk Mitigation Plans.
