Experienced Senior IT Support Engineer sought to provide high-level support and manage complex IT systems in a Windows and Microsoft environment.
This role involves leading key infrastructure projects while ensuring seamless system operations, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for Windows-based environments and manage Active Directory, including user accounts and permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and other IT infrastructure projects.
- Document solutions and maintain accurate records of technical issues.
- Support virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support roles.
- Strong expertise in Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, VMware, or Hyper-V is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Systems Engineer are a plus.
- Ability to lead IT projects and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
