Senior Java Developer sought for a prominent Banking industry client to contribute to innovative financial technology solutions.
Our client, a leading name in the Banking industry, is seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join their dedicated Information Technology department.
This is a permanent position based in their headquarters.
As a Senior Java Developer, your primary responsibility will include:
- Developing high-quality backend code primarily using Java.
- Designing and implementing scalable solutions within a dynamic development environment.
- Interacting with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of web and mobile applications.
- Optimizing application performance through effective database integration and server-side logic.
- Ensuring that all applications adhere to established coding standards and industry best practices.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers and participating in code reviews.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Extensive experience in Java programming and backend development.
- Experience of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, or similar).
- Experience in designing and integrating with REST API endpoints.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in database management and web application integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
