About the job Permanent Galway, Ireland Hybrid / flexible working as required Euros + bonus + healthcare + pension Zenovo Ireland are looking to recruit a Senior Java Engineer to support a engineering technology business, based in Galway. Our partner have been operating for over 15 years, and are hiring due to growth and projects which need delivering for 2025 and 2026. Your will join an existing engineering team who consist of software, embedded, electronics, testing and application engineers. The Expertise And Skills You Bring 5+ years experience as a Software Developer. Required Skills: Java, Spring/Spring boot, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS , Jenkins CI/CD, Docker. Full understanding of the software development process. Experience with Agile methodologies. Strong communication skills (oral and written). Be a highly engaged member of the team participate in all facets of the delivery process. Resolve issues and/or identify approaches to solutions. Desirable experience Microservices Appreciation of secure coding and security techniques Automated testing frameworks JUnit, Selenium, JMeter Relevant Industry Degree There is a 2 stage interview process, and the company are happy for candidates to start before or after Christmas.
