Senior Java Engineer – 2 Bonuses + Massive Distributed Systems Company is building out a new team – be one of the first people in it Extremely competitive benefits with only 2 days in the office per month Build an entirely new system from scratch – contribute with your ideas This Senior Java Engineer role is with a well-recognized name in the global fintech space – with headquarters around the world, they’re currently expanding their headcount in Dublin as a result of good profits in the last few years. As part of this, they’re looking to build an entirely new team for Ireland. This new team would be engaged in an entirely new Greenfield project, making things even more exciting. Specifically, they’re looking for a Senior Java Engineer to kickstart their new customer-facing team and build a new robust platform with lots of data, oriented towards traders, data analysts, desk and risk managers, etc. by implementing their knowledge of Java and Spring and data ingestion/manipulation tools like Spark or Hadoop. The frontend of the platform would be in JavaScript/React so there’s lots of opportunities for learning if you already aren’t familiar with frontend software. You will: Utilize your development expertise to work on exciting new customer-facing projects, including robust new systems Contribute to projects with your ideas and designs – participate in the full SDLC Work closely with other team members, Architects and Product Managers You have: Extensive knowledge of Java and Spring, along with experience in distributed systems with a lot of Data 10+ years of experience in the industry (preferably within finance or banking) Salary / Remuneration DOE + 2-4 days in the office/month, bonus (performance + fixed), pension scheme, life assurance, medical insurance, and extras #J-18808-Ljbffr
