Senior Lead Engineers Wanted
We are seeking Senior Lead Engineers to join our Engineering & Asset Management team. The successful candidate will perform and lead complex client engineering assignments to ensure business priorities are met.
About the Role
The Senior Lead Engineer will be responsible for undertaking project design reviews/site inspections on both contestable and non-contestable transmission projects to ensure that projects are developed in accordance with EirGrid functional specification standards.
About the Team
The Engineering & Asset Management team is responsible for undertaking four key roles: asset management, technical authority, onshore engineering, and offshore engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead complex client engineering assignments to ensure business priorities are met.
- Undertake project design reviews/site inspections on both contestable and non-contestable transmission projects.
- Ensure that projects are developed in accordance with EirGrid functional specification standards.
- Set technical engineering policies and standards for transmission infrastructure.
- Monitor compliance during design and construction.
- Ensure asset integrity and uninterrupted power system functionality.
About You
- Electrical Engineering qualification to degree level or equivalent qualification.
- Good technical knowledge in high voltage transmission design with strong knowledge of transmission technology.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on high quality report writing.
- Ability to influence others to move towards a common vision or goal.
- Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions or new ways of doing things.
- Experience completing onsite inspections and monitoring of construction progress for compliance.
- Full driver's license.
