This role focuses on building back-end test automation frameworks from scratch within cloud-native environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As the Lead SDET, you will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of 4 QA Engineers, ensuring the highest quality standards across their projects.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement robust back-end test automation frameworks from the ground upCollaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery in a cloud-native environment (GCP)Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvementDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure high-quality software releasesDrive the adoption of best practices in testing, coding, and documentationIdentify and mitigate risks related to software quality and performanceStay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and cloud computingQualifications:Proven experience in a Senior or Lead SDET role with a focus on back-end test automationStrong expertise in building test automation frameworks from scratchHands-on experience with cloud-native environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similarExcellent leadership and team management skillsSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferredPension Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
