Senior Legal Counsel

Aerogen is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to operate at a strategic level, partnering with key stakeholders to effectively manage legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Legal and other team members to provide pragmatic legal advice on business critical legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Support M&A activities, new business development and commercial arrangements with new and existing partners.
• Review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Draft and contribute to the development of legal policies, procedures and tools for the business.
• Build trusted collaborative relationships across the organisation.
• Support the development of a high-performing team.
• Manage external legal counsel.

Requirements

• Practicing Solicitor admitted to the Law Society of Ireland, with at least 4 years post qualification experience.
• A strong M&A, corporate/commercial background with experience in commercial contracts and life sciences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and prioritise and work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, team environment.
