Job Description

Our client, a well-established Law Firm in Dublin 4, is seeking a Senior Legal Secretary to support two Partners in their Property Department. The successful candidate will have experience in Conveyancing and Property law, with excellent attention to detail and strong drafting skills.

  • Checking emails and instructions from fee earners
  • Scanning incoming post and capturing documents to relevant case management files
  • Typing draft letters and gathering enclosures
  • Typing and amending draft documentation in Partner for Windows Case Management System
  • Screening calls and typing notes to file
  • Scheduling title deeds and arranging safe off-site storage
  • Scanning bundles of documents and logging Letters of Undertaking
  • Arranging for documents to be sworn by a Commissioner for Oaths/Practicing Solicitor
  • Verifying bank account details of other parties

Requirements

  • Conveyancing/Property experience essential
  • Ability to prioritise workload with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using a case management system, preferably P4Ws
  • Efficient in formatting of large commercial documents, preferably Litera
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Litera and case management
