Job Description

Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Secretary. As one of two Secretaries for the Dublin office, you will work within the Financial Services practice group.

This role offers hybrid working; as they are a small team with a high volume of onsite work across the firm, this will be set according to business need.

Your duties in this role will include:

  • Provide direct secretarial support to three Partners and, alongside other secretarial staff, respond to secretarial requirements from Associates.
  • Complex and busy billing through Aderant – including accurate reporting of narratives, time input, and invoice generation.
  • Busy diary management and travel booking/coordination for Partners.
  • High-level legal document preparation – redlining, redacting, inserting comments, and presentation preparation.
  • Opening of new matters, client due diligence, letters of engagement, updating client codes.
  • Manage process for ongoing CPD for fee-earners.
  • Correspondence with clients.
  • General administrative duties, some reception cover, production of files, and binders.

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary in a large commercial law firm.
  • Strong experience in complex billing and experience using billing software.
  • Very strong MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, with a typing speed of 65 WPM.
