Job Description
Senior Logistics Planner role at Kilsaran requires a motivated individual to plan daily transport and delivery schedules, lead a logistics team, and oversee process orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan daily transport and delivery schedules for manufacturing locations.
- Lead logistics team to manage order-delivery process, including customer service.
- Work with manufacturing location managers and batching teams to deliver effective production planning.
- Oversee process orders received via various channels.
- Plan and allocate fleet to locations to fulfill daily orders.
- Ensure customer orders are delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure effective communication with site teams, fleet, production locations, and technical teams.
- Achieve targets regarding truck utilisation, costs, and empty journeys.
- Work with dispatch teams to maximise truck utilisation.
- Oversight on delivery of products and material quantities to customers.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years' experience in logistics or dispatch office.
- Strong knowledge of systems and administration.
- Logistics experience within manufacturing is beneficial.
- Supply Chain or Logistics third-level qualification is desirable.
