Senior Maintenance Technician Electrical Speciality preferred - Please be advised this is a "Days Only" role Main Job Purpose: Ensure that machinery and equipment runs efficiently by carrying out routinemaintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults. This role will focus on planned and preventative maintenance and also emergency maintenance diagnosing and fixing faults to minimise machine downtime Key Areas of Responsibility: Operating and trouble-shooting plastic injection moulding machines Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding and maintenance TPM and reactive maintenance Preventative Maintenance: Making regular checks on machinery according to a planned schedule. Regular maintenance work such as oiling and cleaning. Replacing parts on a planned basis after a certain number of hours. Checking and calibrating equipment to make sure it is accurate. Emergency Maintenance: Fixing faults as soon as they happen. Using in-depth knowledge of the machinery to diagnose faults & repair faults. Potential for introduction of call-out arrangement. Scope of Responsibility & Complexity: Integral part of a small team of maintenance personnel with responsibility for maintaining all machinery and maintenance of the facility Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required: Ideally candidates will have a Trade apprenticeship/qualification that is recognised in Ireland and/or Mech Eng Qual. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and in production/manufacturing/injection moulding setting.
