Job Description
Senior Maintenance Technician with electrical speciality required for days-only role.
Key responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting plastic injection moulding machines, diagnosing and repairing faults, and performing planned and preventative maintenance.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Operating and trouble-shooting plastic injection moulding machines
- Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding and maintenance
- TPM and reactive maintenance
- Preventative maintenance: regular checks on machinery, oiling and cleaning, replacing parts on a planned basis
- Emergency maintenance: fixing faults as soon as they happen, using in-depth knowledge of the machinery to diagnose and repair faults
Minimum qualifications and experience required:
- Trade apprenticeship/qualification recognised in Ireland and/or Mech Eng Qual
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role and in production/manufacturing/injection moulding setting
