Senior Maintenance Technician Electrical Speciality preferred role seeks to ensure machinery and equipment runs efficiently by carrying out routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults.
Main responsibilities include operating and trouble-shooting plastic injection moulding machines, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding and maintenance, TPM and reactive maintenance.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Operating and trouble-shooting plastic injection moulding machines
- Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding and maintenance
- TPM and reactive maintenance
- Preventative maintenance: regular checks on machinery, oiling and cleaning, replacing parts on a planned basis
- Emergency maintenance: fixing faults as soon as they happen, using in-depth knowledge of the machinery to diagnose and repair faults
Scope of responsibility and complexity:
- Integral part of a small team of maintenance personnel with responsibility for maintaining all machinery and maintenance of the facility
- Minimum qualifications and experience required:
- Trade apprenticeship/qualification recognised in Ireland and/or Mech Eng Qual
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and in production/manufacturing/injection moulding setting
