Job Description
A Senior Manager Accounting will manage the Inventory Accounting team in Limerick, overseeing biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations and international entities. Responsibilities include:
- Reporting monthly inventory results for international entities
- Reviewing and maintaining inventory and standard cost systems
- Collaborating with Master Data Management to ensure accurate production recipes and BOMs
- Coordinating quarterly inventory reserves and assisting with audits
- Working closely with corporate accounting to ensure consistency and standardization of cost accounting
- Maintaining Accounting Derivation Rules and reviewing monthly Project Accounting
- Assisting in developing internal controls and written policies
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP financial applications
- A professional accountancy qualification with 10+ years post qualification experience and 5+ years people management experience
