The Senior Manager Accounting will be responsible for management of the Inventory Accounting team based in Limerick in connection with the Company's biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Limerick and International entities.
A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following: Reporting of monthly actual results for inventory for the international entities Responsible for Profit in Inventory Elimination for international entities Reviewing and handling the company's inventory and standard cost system including annual standards' development Reviewing and maintaining company's inventory and standard cost system Oracle Process Manufacturing Working with Master Data Management to ensure production Recipes / BOM's are accurate and are reflected in the Standard Costing calculations Reviewing Sub Ledger (Production, Inventory, Purchasing, Revaluation, Order Management)You are a self-starter with the ability to operate in a multifaceted environment, able to work on your own initiative and within a team environment You have strong organisational and project management abilities and demonstrate good attention to detail You have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously You have excellent written and verbal communications skills You have strong analytical skills You have the ability to own responsibilities and processes and to adapt to changing circumstances You have experience with ERP financial applications, Oracle applications a distinct advantage You have a high proficiency with Microsoft applications (sophisticated Microsoft Excel knowledge is a necessity) To be considered for this position you must hold a professional accountancy qualification with 10+ years post qualification experience.
A minimum of 5 years people management experience is a requirement.
