The Position We act as a strategic partner to the Public Sector, the Health & Social Care, Higher Education and Research sub-sectors in particular. You will find yourself working with universities, hospitals, community healthcare organisations, charities, Government departments and their agencies. The work is varied but what unites it is an evidence-based approach to client need - evaluating their challenges, designing appropriate solutions and partnering with them in implementation. You will be interested in one or more of the following: public policy and administration, desk research, conducting stakeholder consultations, data analysis - qualitative or quantitative, and report writing. You'll need an appetite for winning new work as well as delivering existing work. Key Responsibilities Manage key parts of client projects reporting to a partner or director. Manage small teams of more junior consultants. Conduct research, benchmarking and policy analysis. Analyse data and information and build an evidence base to inform recommendations. Facilitate client meetings and workshops. Determine appropriate solutions, scenarios and options for clients Develop and present client materials, deliverables and report Further develop consulting tools Contribute to the innovation and evolution of our client services and solutions Ideal Candidate 5+ years consulting experience in a professional service, in house consulting or specialist consulting environment Third level qualification, preferably at Masters/Level 7, in areas such as Economics, Public Policy, Business or a related disciplines Experience working on public and/or private tenders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills - analytical, innovative and creative mindset Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
