Job Description
The Digital Manufacturing Team is responsible for delivering Pfizer's Core Digital Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM) capabilities at every level of the Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) Plant Network.
- Manage a team of engineers to define global standards and introduce best practices for data management and historian systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and validation, and maintain Pi system and infrastructure.
- Coordinate data availability for consuming systems, and define data requirements with site automation teams.
- Work on and lead multiple complex projects, and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders on the benefits of data availability and digital transformation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to manage roadmaps and deliverable content, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
The Global Historian team is responsible for the management of a global Historian and ensuring data access to site Historians.
- Support sites with data acquisition and interface management, and maintain Pi infrastructure and system availability.
- Ensure data accuracy and validation, and coordinate data availability for consuming systems.
- Define data requirements with site automation teams, and work on and lead multiple complex projects.
The successful applicant will be expected to manage a team of engineers that define global standards and introduce best practice guidelines.
- Strong understanding of Automation Infrastructure, and experience with Aveva/Osi PI.
- Strong project management experience, and ability to work in ambiguous situations and synthesize complex information.
- Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities, and successfully adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem-solving, and facilitation, negotiating, and presentation skills.
