Our client, a leading global insurance organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager to join their Dublin city finance team. The role involves advising clients on balance sheet and capital optimization and collaborating with global colleagues. This role will involve some travel to their London office (likely once every 4 to 6 weeks). Key Responsibilities: Provide technical accounting expertise to support colleagues across the business. Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical accounting standards to structure and implement insurance or capital markets solutions. Deliver monthly and bespoke technical updates for clients. Assist in structuring complex deals alongside senior advisors. Collaborate with strategic advisors (law firms, bankers, consultants) to optimize clients' capital and insurance use. Develop innovative approaches, products, and solutions with the team. Support the creation of alternative capital vehicles. Assist senior team members in the Financial Institutions, Balance Sheet Advisory & Structuring team. Requirements: Qualified Accountant with practical expertise in accounting advisory. Knowledge of bank balance sheets and the regulatory environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
