Senior Manager - Insurance FAAS Team
Lead a team of financial accountants in delivering advisory projects to insurance clients, leveraging expertise in IFRS 17 and regulatory change.
- Manage project teams, assess engagement risks, and drive conclusions
- Design and implement strategic and operational initiatives for clients
- Drive innovation and lead change programs in finance
- Develop strong internal and external networks for long-term relationships
- Train, coach, and supervise junior staff
- Identify opportunities for new business and contribute to business development
- Contribute to the growth of the practice through knowledge sharing and technical skills development
Requirements
- Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA)
- Confidence and comfort with uncertainty and ambiguity in a project environment
- Demonstrated expertise across engagement and practice teams
- Working technical knowledge of IFRS 17
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to apply logic and problem-solving to complex finance business problems
- Knowledge of key issues and challenges facing insurance CFOs
- Personal responsibility for the quality of delivery
- Positive team mentality and comfort with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for detailed analysis and report writing
