About us:
With a team of c.20 people, we form part of Ireland's leading deals tax team and have a dedicated focus on real assets (real estate and infrastructure). We advise some of the largest global investment firms as well as domestic investors on their investment in real assets both in Ireland and abroad.

What we do:
As a Senior Manager working within our team you will work with some of the largest global investment firms as well as domestic investors on a broad range of real assets investments, supporting them on the various commercial and tax matters impacting their investments into and out of Ireland.

What does this role offer:
You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on challenging and exciting projects which involve some of the largest investment deals in Ireland and abroad. You will get to work closely with our clients to develop efficient structures, assist them with all tax aspects of the deal and find solutions to challenging issues. As part of our work you will learn a great deal about the legal and commercial elements of the deal, working closely with our clients and other advisors. You will have the opportunity to be not only a trusted tax advisor but an all-round trusted advisor and will get to have an input into business development opportunities and attend networking events. You will also connect with colleagues across the PwC Network, our team works closely with PwC offices in London, the US and across Europe, affording you the chance to broaden your network and tax knowledge.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising closely with clients to ensure the optimum tax solutions are identified and implemented.
  • Bringing business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.
  • Deepening your familiarity with new legislation and tax policy.
  • Directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.
  • Coaching team members and driving the team to make a difference and deliver results in a responsible, authentic and passionate manner.
  • Embracing the digital transformation ongoing in our business.
  • Setting the tone in promoting risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Operating and collaborating effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries.
  • Working on attracting, developing and retaining the best talents for the firm.

About you - Key Competencies & Experience:

  • At least 7 years experience in tax consulting.
  • Strong academic record with a Degree from any discipline and AITI/CTA qualification/equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Business Acumen - use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist your clients in making smart and innovative business decisions.
  • Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships.
  • Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.
  • Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.
