To oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ICT projects and data management aligned with business priorities and strategy.What you’ll doBecome familiar with the Bord Bia ICT landscape and conduct comprehensive business process analysis to determine business needs and identify solutions to business problems or areas for improvement or optimization. This will involve understanding the best use of existing systems and/or the deployment of new systems.Lead data analysis and reporting, analyse data to extract insights and inform business decisions. Create reports and dashboards to present findings. Leverage the existing Business Intelligence platforms.Co-ordinate the financial aspects of the annual budgetary process and forecasting, and subsequent budget variance analysis and commentary.Project Management: oversee projects from inception to completion, develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.Ensure a consistent and professional approach to project management.Support the development and implementation of major financial and business strategies.Stakeholder Engagement - build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Effectively communicate with and manage expectations of various stakeholders, including team members, SLT, and external partners.Manage and mentor cross-functional teams comprised of individuals with expertise in business analysis and project management, and function-specific experts.Ensure that all project documentation is maintained to a high standard and is in line with company policies and procedures.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure project alignment with business strategy and goals.Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technology solutions to enhance business processes and productivity. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.Pro-actively co-ordinate financial aspects of the annual budgetary process, forecasting and planning process.Strategic Planning: contribute to strategic planning initiatives, providing insights and recommendations that shape the organization's direction.Evaluate financial aspects of projects and produce a summary of findings.About YouEssential Knowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesKnowledge:A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a related field or industryBusiness and Financial AnalysisSkills & Capabilities:Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving - Ability to dissect complex issues, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and devise effective solutions.Communication Skills - Proficient in conveying information effectively to stakeholders, team members, and management, both verbally and in writing.Business Knowledge - Understanding of the business domain, processes, and operations to provide context to analysis and recommendations.Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with business intelligence tools, data analysis software, and project management platforms.Interpersonal Skills - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and facilitate discussions.Detail-Oriented - Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of business requirements and project documentation.Organizational Skills - Strong capability in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.Leadership - Experience in leading and mentoring teams, as well as driving projects to successful completion.Desirable Knowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesKnowledge:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) are highly desirable.Skills & Capabilities:Excellent ICT skillsExcellent Documentation skillsExcellent Communication skillsClosing Date/Time: Friday, 25 October 2024 @ 5:00pm (GMT/UTC +1)Bord Bía is an Equal Opportunities Employer: We want to see a society where everyone is equal.
