Each team member actively contributes to a culture that empowers all of us to thrive and feel a sense of belonging at PwC.What we do:We provide expert advice and solutions to major organisations in areas including:Employment taxWorkforce restructuringEmployer risk identification, management and complianceRevenue interventions and auditsMergers and acquisitionsShare schemesPayroll consulting and optimisationOur work is tremendously varied and involves supporting organisations in dealing with the strategic challenges associated with their people and in aligning their People strategy with business performance and employment tax compliance.What does this role offer?As a Workforce Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your focus will be on further developing the business by inputting into strategy, leveraging your network, enhancing client relationships, and growing and supporting the team.You will work on a varied portfolio of projects, including supporting our clients on mergers and acquisitions, working with clients’ HR and tax departments to deliver workforce restructuring projects, and identifying and managing tax costs and tax risk, including Revenue interactions.We are committed to supporting our people. We will offer you excellent learning and development opportunities which will support you to take your career where you want it to go.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading and managing a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop further opportunities with support of Partners and other mentors.Develop and maintain business relationships and market profile with a view to winning new business.Develop and maintain new products and service offerings.Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.Embrace the digital transformation being undertaken in our business.Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries.Motivating your team to perform at their best, make a difference and deliver results.Work on attracting, developing and retaining the best talents for the firm.Participate in flexible working arrangements and achieve a level of autonomy at Senior Manager grade.Being part of and contributing to fostering the fun working environment offered by PwC.About you – Key skills and competencies:At least 7 years experience in Tax with at least 2 at manager level.AITI/CTA Qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong academic record.Commercial awareness with an ability to develop business opportunities.Expert at directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.Business Acumen - use tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market.Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour.Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Enthusiastic team player and manager with a passion to coach and encourage others.Leadership – demonstrate strong commitment and experience to developing yourself and your team.Unlock your potential with PwC IrelandWe believe that challenges are better solved together.
