Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Louth, leading a team to cultivate a high-performance culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and optimisation, driving Operational and Business Excellence through Six Sigma and Lean Principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational and Business Excellence through Six Sigma and Lean Principles Optimisation to help achieve efficiency gains and process improvements
- Development of best practice methodologies and implementation of the overall engineering strategy
- Manage and account for risk assessment and safety improvements within production
- Ensure quality standards of the team meet with KPI expectations
- Development of value streams within SOP's
- Manage plans and budgets, cell enhancements and operational performance of the team
- Provide support to the design team during R&D phases of new product realisation
- Carry out product testing prior to market launch to ensure all safety and quality requirements are met
Requirements:
- Ideal Level 8 qualification in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Technology
- At least 8 years' experience within a manufacturing and engineering facility with a minimum of 3 years experience within a senior/management/leadership role
- Thorough understanding and demonstrable experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques and introduction of these techniques
- Demonstrable experience of leading a team towards indicative and measurable improvements within a manufacturing facility
