Job Description

Tricel are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead and execute the marketing strategy for its Water and Distribution divisions. This key leadership role will focus on building and implementing marketing strategies, managing budgets, driving lead generation, overseeing e-commerce platforms, and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing Tricel’s online and offline presence through CRM (Hubspot) & digital channels such as social media, PPC, SEO, and email marketing. This role also requires strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with the broader business on commercial projects as needed. The successful candidate will work in our Head Office in Killarney. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Execution Lead the development, implementation, and evolution of comprehensive marketing strategies for the Water and Distribution divisions. Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing plan to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement across digital and traditional platforms. Manage and optimise social media strategies across platforms to enhance engagement, build brand identity, and support business growth. Oversee and manage Tricel’s e-commerce platforms (WordPress and Magento), optimising the user experience for sales, customer retention, and growth. Managing a PPC Specialist, leading the execution and optimisation of PPC campaigns to generate targeted traffic and improve conversions for all Tricel websites. Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility. Create and manage email marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement and retention. Budget Management Own and manage the marketing budget for the Water and Distribution divisions, ensuring that spending aligns with the overall marketing strategy and business objectives. Allocate resources efficiently across campaigns, ensuring the best ROI for all marketing activities. Monitor, analyse, and report on budget performance, making strategic adjustments to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, ensuring high performance and alignment with the broader business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging cross-functional cooperation with sales, product development, and customer service teams. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales teams, and product development, to align marketing strategies with business objectives. Collaborate with project teams to support the launch of new products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and market needs. Project & Campaign Management Oversee the end-to-end management of marketing campaigns, from concept and design through to execution and analysis. Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting defined KPIs and business goals. Analyse campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve future results. Compliance & Regulatory Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, particularly within the Water and Distribution sectors. Collaborate with Health & Safety and Document Control to ensure all marketing materials meet compliance guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior marketing role, with proven leadership experience. Experience managing marketing teams and driving marketing strategy development and implementation. Strong experience in managing digital marketing campaigns, including social media, PPC, SEO, and email marketing. Proficient in managing e-commerce platforms (WordPress and Magento) and driving online sales growth. Proven experience managing marketing budgets and optimising spending to achieve maximum ROI. Familiarity with project management tools and processes to ensure smooth campaign execution. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience in HubSpot preferred or other MarTech platform. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Flexibility is key for this role.
