Job Description
Senior M&E Cost Manager role requires a candidate with Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics and Management degree, 5+ years' experience, contractor background, and excellent communication skills.
We are seeking a confident, diligent, and hardworking individual to join our Dublin office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within our experienced Cost Management team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of commissions secured by the practice, developing and enhancing service delivery methodology and supporting systems and tools.
- Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking, estimating and producing cost estimates and cost plans.
- Compiling and amending tender lists, checking and analysing tenders, drafting tender reports, dealing with variations and change control processes.
- Negotiating less financially significant or complex matters, conducting interim valuations, drafting monthly reports, analysing numbers for final accounts.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the recruitment of further staff to support the delivery of commissions.
- Driving and sustaining a high level and quality of service delivery.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, designers, and raising and enhancing our market profile.
- Assisting in the development of a sustainable and successful business in line with defined strategic objectives.
