Job Summary: Experienced Mechanical Engineer required to oversee design and construction of HVAC, Piping, Plant, and Clean Utility systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, check, and peer review designs for commissionability and technical accuracy.
- Provide oversight of design across multiple projects, including checking and carrying out peer reviews.
- Review designs for commissionability and ensure technical issues are resolved promptly.
- Procure equipment, monitor manufacture, and maintain audit trails.
- Prepare design risk assessments and support Health and Safety procedures.
- Liaise with design and construction teams to ensure correct operation of plant on site.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety, Environment, and quality procedures.
- Prepare project close out reports.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of design and construction experience.
- Experience with Plant and Clean Utilities and process piping.
- Understanding of mechanical calculations.
- 3D literacy using latest software platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems in the field.
- Knowledgeable on Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
- Commercial understanding.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
