Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cork. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of mechanical services from concept to completion for a range of projects.
- Deliver a broad range of projects in conjunction with the wider MWP team across multiple departments.
- Design mechanical services from concept to completion for projects within Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial Sectors.
- Have a good knowledge of all Mechanical/Building Services Design guidelines, building regulations, and relevant BS, IS, and EN Standards.
- Knowledge of Auto CAD/Revit MEP and Building Services Design Software, such as IES or Hevacomp.
- Demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of Energy-Efficient Design and incorporation of renewable energy solutions within projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 6+ years' experience in mechanical engineering.
- A Level 8/9 degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services with a strong Design Engineering background.
- Working towards or Chartered Engineering status would be an advantage.
- Experience in working within client-facing positions.
