Our client, a leading M&E Contractor, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will work across a wide range of projects including pharmaceutical, data centres, and the power industries. This is a permanent position with a strong pipeline of projects over the next 5 years.Responsibilities:Collate all design documents and drawingsAttend project handover meetingsEvaluate value engineering or cost-saving opportunitiesPreparation of coordinated drawings covering all aspects of the installation including mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, structural, and architectural elementsReview and understand project design specifications and drawings and assess compliance of coordinated drawings and technical submittalsAssist in the production of weekly progress reportsAssist in the compilation and assessment of Technical SubmittalsProcessing requisitions and generation of purchase ordersRequirements:3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or Senior Trades qualification or equivalentSignificant project engineering experience of 6 years+ with a mechanical contractorPrevious record of delivering small to medium mechanical projects (Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects)Commercial awarenessCapability of walking down mechanical systems to ensure compliance with specificationExperience developing technical submittals, completing technical reviews, and assessmentsKnowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems and proceduresThe ability to multi-task and manage many prioritiesExcellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who communicates with impactExcellent record-keeping and administration skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
