Experienced mechanical engineer sought to lead the Mechanical department at a time of growth in the business, with a focus on industrial projects in the food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, data centres and energy sustainability and optimisation.

Ampromech, an Irish engineering design consultancy, specialises in Mechanical, Electrical and Process engineering.
- Act as project manager on medium sized projects
- Act as mechanical lead on larger projects as part of multi-discipline teams
- Act as mentor to junior and intermediate level engineers
- Design of utility and HVAC systems
- Development of client specific equipment specifications, registers, schedules and equipment lists
- Site visits and surveys
- Attendance at M&E workshops
- Client & contractor meeting attendances
- Coordination of mechanical and electrical services
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- At least 8 years relevant experience
- Track record of delivering engineering designs to client requirements
- Proven ability of designing industrial scale mechanical systems
- Confident and approachable when working with staff members, other design disciplines and also clients
- Excellent command of the English language, especially in written form
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Good understanding of EN and Irish standards
- Highly organised and the ability to meet deliverable deadlines
